The 20th anniversary of the Swimming Tour around Formentera will be remembered, no doubt, for several reasons. The first is the gift is to have been able to swim in Cabo de La Mola after 7 years without being able to do so due to the sea conditions. Among the 240 participants, only 3 had been able to do so given their seniority at the event. On the other hand, the hardness of the first day with the collision with a bank of jellyfish. Of course, with the choreography on Sunday, which demonstrates the involvement in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis of participants and volunteers. Finally, for the effort of the “Chipironas” team and their “Chipimarket” and for the gift of Rico Hartman, owner of the Blue Bar and artist known as Jah Chango, who offered us a private concert only for Respiralia.
The Películas Suecas production company, as every year, recorded a report titled “20 Reasons“, in which participants and volunteers give us their reasons for going to Respiralia. 20 years summarized in 20 wonderful reasons that make the effort to organize the event worthwhile.
This special anniversary is dedicated to a very special person who left us on September 27, 2018. It’s for you Andrew!
