Know all the news for the 25th anniversary of the Swimming Tour around Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis, a unique event with a long history in the calendar of solidarity swimming. In 2000, Pere Galiana started this great adventure. In 2024 you can be part of this great story of solidarity.
If you want to sign up you need to know the following:
Dates: It will be the weekend of June 28th to 30th. Remember that on Thursday 27th in the afternoon you must be in Formentera to pick up your participant bag and for the informative talk.
Registration period: As all places have been filled via sponsorship, there will no longer be an open enrollment period. In case you are interested in being on the waiting list, you can send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org.
Donation-registration: It is no longer possible to register via sponsorship.
How are the seats distributed this year? They have all been distributed to individuals who have provided sponsorship.
How long do I have to confirm my sponsorship? Deadline has expired.
Ways to make and confirm sponsorship: Since we have already reached 220 seats filled, you need to send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org to be put on the waiting list.
I have a company that wants to sponsor the event, can I use it as a sponsorship?
As there are no more registrations available, the answer is NO. We are looking for companies that would like to sponsor the following aspects of the event:
- T-shirts of the volunteer team: This year we are looking for a sponsor to put the T-shirts of the 50 members of the volunteer team (3 for each one) and €500.00 + VAT. In addition to the text “Respiralia organization team”, it can carry the sponsor’s logo (one color only). Cost of sponsorship: €1,000.00 + VAT.
- Participant T-shirts: As every year, we will make a t-shirt design and choose a color. If any company is interested, they can sponsor the t-shirts and put their logo on the sleeve (small dimensions). Approximate cost: €3,000.00 + VAT.
- Pneumatic boat rental: The sponsor will contribute €1,500.00 + VAT and will be able to place the advertising of his choice on the pneumatic for the three days of the Tour.
- Insurance: The organizer’s Civil Liability and accident policies for participants and volunteers amount to approximately €1,000.00 + VAT (both). The conditions of visibility of the brand will be established in the advertising contract.
- Signaling Cavall d’en Borràs beach area for Friday departure and Sunday arrival: The sponsor may put 2 boundary flags. Sponsorship amount: €2,000.00 + VAT (cost of the flags to be paid by the sponsor).
- Meals: The sponsor may place a sticker with its logo on the containers distributed to each participant. Cost of sponsorship: €700.00 + VAT.
- Mothership rental: The sponsor may place 2 x 1 meter banners on each side of the boat with its logo. Sponsorship amount: €4,000.00 + VAT/2 banners or €7,000.00 + VAT/4 banners.
What happens if I sign up and then can’t go? A place will only be reserved for the next edition in case of medical leave with a medical report. In all other cases, the registration fee will be refunded with a penalty depending on the date of cancellation (20% until May 31st, 50% from June 1st to June 15th, 75% from June 15th to June 25th). Those who cancel their registration after June 25 will not be entitled to a refund. We hope you understand
