496 participants in the X edition of the Solidarity kilometers against Cystic Fibrosis bathe the promenade of Palma with the blue of Respiralia, thanks to our sponsors Obra Social “la Caixa” and Linde Healthcare.
One more year, the families of Mallorca come together for a just cause, in this case the Cystic Fibrosis. No matter how fit you are, it does not matter if you are used to running or not. The important thing is to contribute that bit of sand that makes it possible for society to know the symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis and we can detect new cases, while offering the best services to children and young people who have it.
We must keep them well today more than ever, because medicines that stop the disease are getting closer … provided that the Ministry of Health wants to finance them (#OrkambiYA).
Thanks to this race, participants become ambassadors of the Respiralia Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Association of the Balearics. They talk about Cystic Fibrosis in their environment and that helps people who do not know it to recognize symptoms similar to those of a family member. Perhaps it is the first step for a correct diagnosis of this person.
This year we have had the great contribution of the Quetglas Amate family, who with their team “Joan, my favorite villain” have won the Prize Restaurante Ararat Festival Burgerandfun to the most numerous team.
We have also had the participation of Angel Rosagro, student of Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports of the UCAM in Murcia, who has come expressly to support the cause.
