The population of Ibiza has turned to the fight against Cystic Fibrosis in both massive and solidarity-based acts that have taken place on the island.
The Respiralia Foundation has raised € 4,591.60 from solidarity contributions for the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis on the island of Ibiza.
Some 6,000 people attended and contributed at the event in Sant Antoni de Portmany.
Absolutely full in the seventh edition of the “Campionat Mundial d’Arròs de Matances” – World Championship of slaughter rice-, organized by the Kantaun Restaurant this past weekend in Sant Antoni de Portmany.
The Respiralia Foundation has raised € 2,931.60 through the 84 polls placed in individual positions of groups that competed in the contest, together with the explanatory magazines of the projects being carried out.
Attendees have tasted, not only the different slaughter rice dishes, but also the different dishes that each group has served in this solidarity weekend.
Respiralia raises € 1,660 in “3 days Trail Ibiza” organized by the Club Trideporte Ibiza.
More than 800 participants took the “3 days of Trail Ibiza” race, organized by Trideporte, with which € 1,660 was raised against Cystic Fibrosis.
On the occasion of the event, the director of the Respiralia Foundation, Carlos Pons, held 3 educational conferences at the Holy Trinity College and a gymkhana was organized with the students of the school, in which they had to answer a question about Cystic Fibrosis at each station .
In this way, the “Educate equals Health in Cystic Fibrosis” project continues to train children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis to make them become people who manage the treatment of their disease in the most autonomous way possible, thus earning quality of life.
