From the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association and the Respiralia Foundation we publicly commit to allocate the funds received to the fulfillment of our foundational objectives: to improve the quality of life of children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis and to spread awareness of this serious and incurable disease. Your contribution is important to the Respiralia Group.
The Cystic Fibrosis Association of the Balearics and the Respiralia Foundtaion, depending which one receives the donation, will issue a certificate to justify the donation and deductible contribution. This certificate will fulfill the requirements required by article 24 of the mentioned Law 49/2002, and will include the donor’s fiscal information.
Who we are
The Respiralia Group is formed by the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association and the Respiralia Foundation, which are non-profit donor-supported organizations, declared of Public Interest in accordance with the 49/2002 Spanish Law of December 23rd, on the fiscal regime of organizations without lucrative purposes and offering fiscal incentives to supporters. This implies that all non-anonymous donations made by natural or legal persons have certain tax concessions. In order to comply with the provisions of the Money Laundering Law, it is essential that the donor provide his or her full name, DNI and province of fiscal residence.
These tax reductions from personal income tax, corporate income tax, and tax on non-residents income are all specified in articles 17 to 24 of the Law 49/2002.
Other forms of corporate contributions
Other forms of corporate contributions are established in articles 25, 26, and 27 of the Law 49/2002, for example, support from the corporate sector for activities of general interest, sponsorship treaties, and advertising agreements.
The aim of both entities is to work in favour of several projects of interest for people with Cystic Fibrosis. All individual persons or corporations interested in helping with any kind of contribution can have an active participation in the project of their choice. For this reason, our compromise is to have donors regularly informed about the progress of the project they are helping with, eg, stage of the project, destination of the donation, information relative to events and acts, as well as invitation to these events, photo gallery, etc., through our social networks, monthly bulletins, annual magazine and website.
With all that, the donor will be able to do a close follow-up of the project, verifying personally if his/her contribution achieves the expected results.
