Held in Palma a meal discussion on the innovation in Cystic Fibrosis and the importance of having the new drugs organized by Cariotipo MH5, in collaboration with Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
Participating in this meal were those in charge of the pediatric and adult area who treat Cystic Fibrosis at Son Espases Hospital, Dr. J. Figuerola and Dr. A. Palou, the pediatric pulmonologist at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, Dr. S. Gartner, the expert in institutional relations of patient associations, Esther Sabando, the president of the Institute for Research and Training in Health, Álvaro Lavandeira, the head of the pharmacy service of the La Fe Hospital in Valencia, José Luis Poveda, the Senator from Baleares José Ramón Bauzá and members of the Balearic Association of Cystic Fibrosis and the Respiralia Foundation.
The issue of the situation of Cystic Fibrosis in the Balearic Islands was discussed and how interesting it would be for doctors to have at their disposal the new medicines that treat the disease.
