Last weekend, Formentera hosted the 26th edition of the Swimming Tour around Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis. To date, it has been the best edition in the history of Respiralia.

Películas Suecas always surprises us with its creations. For this edition he has created the song “Respiralia beats” to show what the Respiralia Spirit is.
An unforgettable experience
In this edition, the weather conditions and the state of the sea have provided a perfect setting for the practice of swimming: the waters of Cabo de la Mola as a plate, the calm wind and jellyfish respecting the group of participants.
In short, everything the organizing team could not control lined up and what they could control went well.
Messages that touch the heart
The 220 people who participated have wanted to reflect their feelings after this experience. Here are some of the messages sent after the event:
“What is as always is the feeling that you generate in people. That warmth in the soul that stays with you after Respiralia is unique, and constant in all Respiralia. You have changed, always improving year after year, but keeping your essence unchanged. Respiralia is a unique recurring experience. Every year I come back with that warmth in my soul that makes me look for a better life for me and my loved ones. And that is a huge merit, and it is all yours. We all need to breathe. It’s just that some of us don’t realize it until we come to Respiralia.”
“I have been coming to this event since 2005, first with my parents and then on my own, and when I look back I realize that more than half of my life is filled with memories linked to Respiralia, more than any other experience. For me, it has always been much more than just an event. Not only because of what it represents in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, but also because, on a personal level, it helped me a lot at the time to accept my condition. Without Respiralia, I honestly believe that I would be a very different person today.”
