The Respiralia Foundation organizes the first Urban Game of Orientation against Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday January 18, 2015, in collaboration with the Balearic Federation of Orientation, Palma City Council and the Consell de Mallorca.
Taking advantage of citizen mobilization on the occasion of the Festival of San Sebastian of Palma at the Parc de Ses Estacions and the organization of the I Orientation Race of the Regional League, the Respiralia Foundation wants to bring the sport of Orientation throughout society in a fun way. Our intention is to involve families with their children so that they are the stars of the game. We encourage them to be they who handle the map delivered to the participants so they can be able to orient themselves through the streets of Palma. It is an educational game that will help them in the future and in which participants will walk the streets of Palma looking beacons installed at certain points. Once found each beacon, the card will be inserted in the beacon to mark the correct box. Once completed the course, participants will return to the starting point.
Participating will be very simple. You can make your registration through the inscription form online at our website and through a registration desk at the Parc de Ses Estacions (next to Plaza de España), where maps and beacons card will be delivered to the participants. A table at the Plaza de Porta Pintada (next to San Miguel Street) will be set as the starting point of the race.
ll money raised will go to the individualized fitness program for children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis of the Respiralia Foundation.
