The IMAS grants a new subsidy to the CF Balearic Association for the project of Comprehensive care to people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.
A project to meet all the needs of people with Cystic Fibrosis
The Comprehensive Care project for people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families is made up of different programs that cover their needs:
- Care, guidance and follow-up in all phases of the disease (including psychological care).
- Education equals Health in Cystic Fibrosis, with which we teach the technique of Autogenic Drainage, inhaled therapy, hygiene measures and reeducation exercises to the effort.
- Awareness raising, with informative capsules, talks in schools and the organization of social and sporting events to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
A much-needed grant
The Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association will receive 10.189,69 € to cover the expenses made in 2020, which will allow to revert the negative effects of such a complicated year at economic level of 2021.
