After several months of activities, Irene Junquera closes the Corona-Tour with a great interview by our volunteer journalist Marta Bergas.
Virtual closing
Thanks to Películas Suecas, the closing of the Corona-Tour could be streamed through the Respiralia Youtube Live channel. A great job by Edu Pampín and Adán Bonet that allowed us to overcome the technical problems that arose.
Respiralia opens with live performances
Organizing an event is not easy, but from Respiralia we now know that those organized live streaming are very complicated. But both the volunteer team and the people who were interviewed put a lot of patience and great willingness to make it go very well.

The Swimming Tour around Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis would not exist without the people who participate and organize it and without the companies that finance it. The Corona-Tour has been a tribute to all of them.
With this premise, we interviewed participants known faces such as Irene Junquera, journalist and TV presenter, or Martín Giacchetta, physical trainer and co-founder of Boutique Gym; and participants such as Paco Casterá, Juanjo Pérez, David Tripiana or Susana Giménez, without forgetting a great example of overcoming for all our collective as Irene Nevado. Sergi Bruguera, captain of the Spanish tennis team, had technical sound problems and could not enter live.
We also interviewed David Asín, General Manager of Linde Homecare Spain, at Linde Healthcare, who has been financially supporting our events for years and, in person along with several people from his company, the start of the event in Formentera.
The Chairwoman of the Consell Insular de Formentera, Alejandra Ferrer, spoke to us about what it means that so many people participate in the island year after year and their involvement in the organization of the event, both with economic contribution and infrastructure.
On the other hand, Eduardo Maynau, Delegate at Red Eléctrica in the Balearic Islands, had technical sound problems and, even trying several times, we could not hear his contributions as a great collaborating company of the event.
On behalf of our volunteer team, Ketty Ruiz, Juan Roig and Javier Gutiérrez talked about their experiences over the years in which they have participated.
We cannot forget those companies that supported the event but were not interviewed due to internal policies. We are talking about Alcampo and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, companies that also made this event possible.

Our guest artists
Music is a must in every great event. In our case, the group DHI sang live two songs: “Noches de verano” and “Debes comprender”, a song adapted to the Cystic Fibrosis collective with a message that parents send to their sons and daughters who have the disease.
To close the event, a great performance, also in acoustic, by Jah Chango from the Blue Bar in Formentera. He presented us his latest work “Quiero más de ti” and ended as the XX Anniversary of the Swimming Tour around Formentera ended in 2019, with a very personal version of “Sofá de cuero“, in memory of Pau Donés.
