The Respiralia Group to society taking advantage of talent for social purposes in favor of Cystic Fibrosis. Javier Gutiérrez is a great example.
Approach to Cystic Fibrosis
In 2005, Javier Gutiérrez learned about Cystic Fibrosis thanks to people from the Respiralia Foundation. In 2006 he began to collaborate as a volunteer in the event Vuelta a Formentera swimming against Cystic Fibrosis as skipper of an inflatable. This experience made him repeat several years in that role.
Assuming more responsibility

Javier’s interest in helping people with Cystic Fibrosis made him take on the challenge of leading the sea team in the swimming event in Formentera from 2010 to 2021 and in Mallorca to date. His responsibility is very big, as his decisions affect almost 300 people during the event.
Humor at the service of solidarity

Javier has the gift of making people laugh. Since 2009 he put that gift at the service of the Respiralia Foundation, since with his comedy group “El Duólogo” he performed for 3 years in different venues without charging, but with the condition that the owner of the venue that hired them had to make a donation to the Foundation. The Restaurant “El Chato”, the Plaza Bar, the Town Hall of Palmanyola and some couples who were getting married enjoyed the show of “El Duólogo”.
A very supportive heart

In the middle of the pandemic, Javier was diagnosed with a serious heart injury. One of the best treatments was to walk, so he did not think twice and organized the I Walk around Mallorca to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and raise funds for our cause. His heart, even injured, was more supportive than ever.
