Students of the high cuisine course of the Escola d’Hoteleria de les Illes Balears (EHIB) Cristina Odriozola, Miguel Angel Coll and Xisco Alvarez,presented 5 new dishes specially designed for children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis.
On Wednesday April 10th 5 new high-calorie menus for children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis were presented by students of the high cuisine course of the EHIB.
Thanks to its Director, José Luis Mateo, its Professor of Health and Hygiene, Sunilda Muntaner, and the Head Chef, Xisco Jorda, nutrition in cystic fibrosis has become a subject of study in which it is considered one of the best hotel schools in Europe. Since last year, the students of the high cuisine course work in new dishes to improve calorie intake in an attractive way for children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis.
