Attention, please! News regarding registration deadlines as of 06/25/21. Respiralia 2021 is on the go. The date scheduled for the XXI Swimming Tour around Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis is the first weekend of September (days 3, 4 and 5).
Due to the pandemic, we have asked the Consell Insular de Formentera for their collaboration for the first weekend of September, when we hope that the health situation has relaxed and we can organize this event so awaited by many people.
If you want to participate, you need to konw this information:
REGISTRATIONS WITH 2020 RESERVATION
Those of you who already have a reservation from last year, just send us an email to fundacio@respiralia.org indicating that you are interested in participating. We will send you a link so that you can register before the opening of the registration period.
REGISTRATIONS WITHOUT 2020 RESERVATION
Those interested in participating in this edition and do not have a reservation, can follow two ways to register:
1. SECURE YOUR PLACE
To secure your place, you just need to find your own sponsor who will make a contribution of a minimum of 75.00 € before June 30, 2021 (updated at June 25, 2021). If you choose this way, please send us an email to fundacio@respiralia.org informing us of your choice. Once this contribution has been confirmed, we will send you a link so that you can register before the opening of the registration period. Remember that your sponsor can be a person (you can be yourself) or a company. If you are not sure how to do it, please contact us.
2. WAIT FOR THE OPENING OF THE REGISTRATION PERIOD
On July 3, 2021 (updated on June 25, 2021), at 00:00 hours, we will open the official registration period through this link.
IMPORTANT: Due to current restrictions, both due to the pandemic and the decision of the Consell Insular de Formentera as of 06/25/21, and until these restrictions change and the decision not to cede the public sports center for this solidarity event, the number of seats will be 200 and not 240 as in other years. As always, the number of places available will be the result of subtracting the total number of places minus the places already assigned to those people who have the reservation because they have provided their own sponsor.
The available places will be for people who are able to find their own accommodation.
The online form will be available until the determined number of places is filled.
REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee is 180.00 € for those who do not provide their own sponsor and 150.00 € for those who do provide their own sponsor. The registration platform charges a management fee (around 4%).
PENALTY FOR RESIGNATION
Once the registration has been made, in case of resignation for reasons other than proven medical leave, a penalty will be applied:
- 20% penalty until July 31, 2021
- 50% penalty from August 1 to 15, 2021
- 75% penalty from August 15 to 22, 2021
- 100% penalty from August 23, 2021
In case of medical leave, the seat will be reserved until the next edition, and cannot be transferred to another person.
