Meet all the news for the new edition of the Swimming Tour of Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis, a unique event with a long history in the calendar of solidarity swimming. In 2000, Pere Galiana started this great adventure. In 2025 you can be part of this great story of solidarity.
If you want to sign up you need to know the following:
Dates: It will be the weekend of June 27th to 29th. Remember that on Thursday 26th in the afternoon you must be in Formentera to pick up your participant bag and for the informative talk.
Registration period: From May 1st, at 00:00, through this link. If all 220 places are filled, a waiting list will be opened. You can send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org if you do not have a place and you want to get on the waiting list.

ATTENTION: We inform you that there are no more places left. This year all the places have been covered by the reservation procedure with sponsorship.
Registration: The registration fee is 200,00 € and includes accommodation (a mattress on the floor of the sports center) from Thursday 26/06 to Monday 30/06, breakfast, lunch on the boat, insurance, hat and T-shirt. Registration for people with Cystic Fibrosis is free of charge, as long as they send the reservation request and there are still places available. In addition, they are assured a place for an accompanying person, subject to availability at the time of booking.
How are the seats distributed this year? Those interested can reserve a place by making a sponsorship of €85.00 in the form of a donation (this can be done by the person interested or by any other person or company) until the 220 places are filled (IMPORTANT: From March 15, 2025, the places are filled, so next requests will join the waiting list). In this case, the person interested in the place will receive a voucher for registration before May 1, with a registration fee of 160,00 €. The places not covered by the sponsorship system will be made available at 00:00 on May 1st.
How long do I have to confirm my sponsorship? Until all 220 places are filled or April 29 at 23:59, whichever comes first.
Ways to make and confirm sponsorship: Those interested in reserving their place before May 1 should send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org indicating their intention to make a sponsorship contribution (in the form of a donation). Once received, a registration voucher will be sent to you, subject to availability.
I have a company that wants to sponsor the event, can I use it as a sponsorship? The answer is yes, of course.
We are looking for companies that would like to sponsor the following aspects of the event:
- T-shirts of the volunteer team: This year we are looking for a sponsor to put the T-shirts of the 50 members of the volunteer team (3 for each one). In addition to the text “Respiralia organization team”, it can carry the sponsor’s logo (one color only). Cost of sponsorship: 1.300,00 € plus VAT.
- Participant T-shirts: As every year, we will make a t-shirt design and choose a color. If any company is interested, they can sponsor the T-shirts and put their logo on the sleeve (small dimensions). Approximate cost: 3.500,00 € plus VAT.
- Pneumatic boat rental: The sponsor will provide €1,500.00 plus VAT and may place the advertising he/she wishes on the pneumatic for the three days of the Tour, providing the advertising supports.
- Insurance: The organizer’s civil liability policy and the accident policy for participants and volunteers amount to approximately €1,000.00 plus VAT (both). The conditions of visibility of the brand will be established in the advertising contract.
- Signposting Cavall d’en Borràs beach area for Friday departure and Sunday arrival: The sponsor may place 2 delimiting banners. Sponsorship amount: 2.000,00 € plus VAT (cost of the banners to be paid by the sponsor).
- Meal: The sponsor may place a sign at the points where food will be served (pavilion patio and on the boat). Cost of sponsorship: 1.000,00 € plus VAT.
- Mothership rental: The sponsor may place 2 x 1 meter banners on each side of the boat with its logo. Sponsorship amount: 4.000,00 € plus VAT/2 banners or 7.000,00 € plus VAT/4 banners.
What happens if I sign up and then can’t go? A place will only be reserved for the next edition in case of medical leave with a medical report. In all other cases, the registration fee will be refunded with a penalty depending on the date of cancellation (20% until May 31, 50% from June 1 to June 15, 75% from June 15 to June 20). Those who cancel their registration after June 21 will not be entitled to a refund. We hope you understand
