Meet all the news for the new edition of the Swimming Tour of Formentera against Cystic Fibrosis, a unique event with a long history in the calendar of solidarity swimming. In 2000, Pere Galiana started this great adventure. In 2026 you can be part of this great story of solidarity.
If you want to sign up you need to know the following:
Dates: It will be the weekend of June 26th to 28th. Remember that on Thursday 25th in the afternoon you must be in Formentera to pick up your participant bag and for the informative talk.
Registration: The registration fee includes accommodation (a mattress on the floor of the sports center) from Thursday, June 25 to Monday, June 29, breakfast (Friday to Sunday), lunch on the boat (Friday to Sunday), insurance, a cap, and a T-shirt. Registration for people with Cystic Fibrosis is free of charge. Simply enter the discount code “PersonaconFQ” on the form, subject to availability. In addition, a place is guaranteed for one accompanying person, subject to availability at the time of booking.
IMPORTANT: From March 8, at 22:14, there aro no places left. People interested in joining the waiting list, please, send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org.
Donation-registration: From Sunday, March 8, 2026, to April 30, 2026, the contribution will be €250.00 until all 220 places are filled. Unlike previous years, there is no longer the option of pre-registration with sponsorship, but rather a single payment. From May 1, 2026, onwards, provided there are still places available, the contribution will be €210.00.
This year we are launching a new registration platform and an app that you will need to install if you want to stay up to date with all the latest news about the event. You will receive more information when you register on this platform.
I have a company that wants to sponsor the event, can I use it as a sponsorship? The answer is yes, of course.
We are looking for companies that would like to sponsor the following aspects of the event:
- Pneumatic boat rental: The sponsor will provide €1,500.00 plus VAT and may place the advertising he/she wishes on the pneumatic for the three days of the Tour, providing the advertising supports.
- Insurance: The organizer’s civil liability policy and the accident policy for participants and volunteers amount to approximately €1,000.00 plus VAT (both). The conditions of visibility of the brand will be established in the advertising contract.
- Signposting Cavall d’en Borràs beach area for Friday departure and Sunday arrival: The sponsor may place 2 delimiting banners. Sponsorship amount: 2.000,00 € plus VAT (cost of the banners to be paid by the sponsor).
- Meal: The sponsor may place a sign at the points where food will be served (pavilion patio and on the boat). Cost of sponsorship: 1.000,00 € plus VAT.
What happens if I sign up and then can’t go? A place will only be reserved for the next edition in case of medical leave with a medical report. In all other cases, the registration fee will be refunded with a penalty depending on the date of cancellation (20% until May 31, 50% from June 1 to June 15, 75% from June 15 to June 20). Those who cancel their registration after June 21 will not be entitled to a refund. We hope you understand
