In solidarity with people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ukraine, we join the fundraising campaign created by the Cystic Fibrosis Europe Federation.
Coordinated help in Europe
Due to the serious situation that Ukraine and all its population are suffering, from the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Federation and the Associations that are part of it, we want to support CF Europe in the coordinated help that they are carrying out together with the CF association of Ukraine and the associations of the neighboring countries (Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova).
It is the best way to channel help at this time.
People with Cystic Fibrosis in Ukraine
There are almost 1000 people with Cystic Fibrosis who need help. Some of them have already crossed the border and are in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary or Romania, where associations are helping families with medication, housing and other needs. But most people with CF are still in Ukraine. For this reason, CF Europe is organizing with associations in neighboring countries to get the most urgent medicines to all people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Treatment for these people is more necessary than ever, so every little help will be appreciated.
Joint account for fundraising from Spain
After assessing the situation, it has been decided not to collect medicines from each country, but to concentrate support for people with CF in Ukraine on fundraising, in order to be able to cover more specifically the needs detected at each moment.
For this purpose, the Spanish CF Federation has opened the fundraising campaign “Ayuda FQ Ucrania”, through its account number ES21 2100 4331 0102 0005 1255, to support all these coordinated actions and send all proceeds to CF Europe.
