240 swimmers enjoyed the crystal clear waters of Formentera in an atmosphere of solidarity and companionship from 1 to 3 July.
240 swimmers have come loyal to their appointment in Formentera, besides practicing the sport they love, to live an unforgettable experience. These 240 elected were lucky to find a seat in the first 11 hours on May 1, opening date of the registration period.
In this 17th edition 7 young with cystic fibrosis participated, as swimmers or as volunteers, including Elio, an Italian man transplanted of both lungs.
Both veterans and those who have participated for the first time this year swam with these marine inhabitants known by open water swimmers: jellyfish. This year they returned to join and to leave more than a memory in the skin of our participants. The wind also starred on Saturday, but our dear Javi and his sea team were able to overcome this eventuality with makeshift stage changes to ensure the safety of swimmers.
On Sunday, the culmination, teams delighted us once again with their choreographies and songs, leaving an indelible memory of this edition.
