When waiting is… Life
Irene Nevado will be with us to talk about her experience in two lung transplant processes. A unique mentality allowed her to overcome situations of fear, doubts and loneliness in what seemed to be an all or nothing situation.
Story of overcoming adversity
Irene, without a doubt, is an exceptional woman. Her eagerness to overcome the challenges that life has set for her makes her an example for many people who are lost. Probably, the mental battle in this type of situation is the hardest, so the internal dialogue will be the key to overcoming it.
A motivational talk
This talk is intended to serve as motivation for many people going through complicated situations. It is likely that, with the advances in medicine, many people with Cystic Fibrosis or other pathologies do not think that they can reach transplantation, but really Irene goes far beyond transplantation.
Life presents us with challenges every day, so Irene can give us strategies, from her experience and professional training as a nurse, to overcome them.
