The Respiralia Group remains committed to the environment with the offset of the carbon footprint of the event Strokes against Cystic Fibrosis in Mallorca 2022.
True World – Respiralia alliance
The Respiralia Group and True World Organization are collaborating closely in those environmental sustainability events that are organized to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
This alliance was born with the project “Reforest Mallorca. Plant a tree, donate oxygen“, with which almost 50,000 trees will be planted on the public estate “Sa Duaia” in Artá. It is expected that this project can be started in 2023.
Electric boats for our swimming events
In the event Brazadas contra la Fibrosis Quística in Mallorca, held in July 2022, True World participated with its boat Stenella, whose characteristic is that it is powered by solar energy, significantly reducing our impact on the environment.
In 2023, the vessel Galaxie, also from True World, is scheduled to participate with a new electric motorization.
Measuring and offsetting the carbon footprint of Respiralia 2022
Thanks to True World’s measurement, the Respiralia 2022 “Cystic Fibrosis Stroke event generated a total of 23 tons of CO2. These have been offset at the Qinghai Maqin Gequ Level 2 Hydropower Plant, making it a neutral event.

This power plant generates electricity with zero green gas emissions through the application of hydropower and displaces the same amount of electricity from China’s northwest power grid (NWPG), which is dominated by electricity from coal-fired power plants.
