As every year, in these Christmas dates you cannot miss the Christmas Lottery of the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association. This Christmas draw we are going to win the jackpot with the number 60.039.
Which do you prefer, ballot or tenths?
The Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association offers to the interested people tenths at 24,00 € (20,00 € played and 4,00 € as donation) and ballots at 3,00 € (2,50 € played and 0,50 € as donation).
How to purchase the tenths or ballots
Reservations are made by sending an email to fqbalear@respiralia.org. Once received, we will contact the interested person to deliver the lottery requested.
How can I get them if I do not live in Mallorca?
There are two ways to do it. The first one is to send it by post or through a courier company at the expense of the interested person. The other is to send a letter of ownership in the name of this person, being in this case the Association the depository of the tenth or ballot.
How can you collect the prize if you win?
If the interested person has purchased a lottery tenth, he/she can collect his/her prize at any lottery office. If you have purchased one or more ballots, you can contact us by sending an email to fqbalear@respiralia.org. Once the authenticity of the ballot has been verified, we will proceed to the payment of the prize.
How much can you get?
The Christmas Lottery draw gives a prize of €400,000.00 per tenth, of which, €72,000.00 are kept by the Treasury (the first €40,000.00 are exempt from taxation). Therefore, acquiring a tenth can give you €328,000.00 net after paying taxes.
In case of having purchased a ticket, you can win €41,000.00 € (already discounted what the Treasury keeps of the tenth corresponding to that ticket).
Have you already thought about how to distribute the Christmas Lottery prize?
If you have thought of distributing part of the prize, as long as it is over €40,000.00, you must be very clear about who you are going to give money to before collecting it. It is necessary to make the distribution previously in writing, to go all the signatories of the document to collect together and to indicate it to the person who manages the payment of that prize (normally the person of the bank) so that all the beneficiaries can be declared to the Treasury and only 20% is withheld.
If this is not done, the Treasury will keep 20% of the amount corresponding to the tenth prize and then will apply the % corresponding to the increase of wealth in the income tax return of the person who has received part of that prize and has not been declared as a beneficiary at the time.
Solidarity event
If we are lucky enough to win, have you thought about making an act of solidarity by donating part of the prize to the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association? It is a small gesture that improves the quality of life of people with Cystic Fibrosis in our community.
