One more year, members of the Leo Club at Bellver International College demonstrate that solidarity is also a value that is cultivated at school.
The Leo Club is a clear example that society is alive, that new generations also know that there is something more than their own benefit. These young people first take actions to raise money and then visit different non-profit entities to choose where they want to allocate their donations.
In our case, Sofia and several club members visited our facilities. We could explain what is Cystic Fibrosis and the services we offer. The visit was very nice because they showed a lot of interest asking questions to satisfy their concern.
On Tuesday, June 19, the President of the Leo Club, Sofia, was in charge of delivering the sum of € 1,000.00 to Teresa Llull, representative of the Balearic Association of Cystic Fibrosis. This donation will be used to train the children and young people of our association in the technique of autogenous drainage, inhaled therapy, reeducation to effort and hygiene measures.
