The Respiralia Group joins the Cystic Fibrosis Spanish Federation’s initiative to promote the professional integration of people with Cystic Fibrosis during European Cystic Fibrosis Week.
Workplace integration of people with CF
During European Cystic Fibrosis Week, our group is focusing on the need to create inclusive and flexible work environments that allow people with cystic fibrosis to develop their professional careers on equal terms. The Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Federation has developed a project to promote the integration into the labor market and employability of people with CF throughout Spain, offering them tools for their personal and professional development.
Employment point FQ
Coinciding with European Cystic Fibrosis Week (November 17–23), the Respiralia Group will promote the Cystic Fibrosis Spanish Federation’s (FEFQ) new website (FEFQ) “Punto de Empleo FQ” (CF Employment Point), a website that will serve as a virtual information point to promote the employment and employability of people with cystic fibrosis, offering a comprehensive and accessible overview of employment, training, and social inclusion for this group.
This project, entitled “Check-point FQ. Meeting point for job placement in cystic fibrosis” and presented through the Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities (COCEMFE), aims to improve access to employment, professional training, and business awareness of organic disabilities.
Program content
Among its main content, the portal includes an FQ Labor Observatory, with updated data and analysis on employment, legislation, and gender perspective; a Training Resources section, with practical guides for writing resumes, preparing for interviews, or communicating the disease in the workplace; a Personalized Advice area, which offers career, educational, and psychological guidance through a multidisciplinary team; and a Space for Employers, with information on tax benefits, reasonable accommodations, and recommendations for creating inclusive environments.
Podcast “Voices with CF”
The portal includes the podcast “Voces con FQ” (Voices with CF), a series of three episodes that collect real testimonies from people with cystic fibrosis about their work experiences, highlighting the challenges, lessons learned, and examples of overcoming adversity that can serve as inspiration for both other people with CF and the business community. The first of these episodes is now available on the FEFQ website and YouTube channel, and the other two will be published throughout this European CF Week.
Project promoted by COCEMFE and funded by Fundación ONCE
This project is part of the Priority Plan of the Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities (COCEMFE), funded by the ONCE Foundation. The Confederation manages this grant to finance the priority projects of its entities, providing them with advice and detailed monitoring throughout the process.
