Project on the impact of Kaftrio on the microbiota

Dr. Amparo Solé, head of the research team, and Dr. Balaguer, a member of her team, will present the progress of the project entitled “Personalized medicine. Effect of highly effective CFTR modulators and the Mediterranean diet on the respiratory and intestinal microbiota in patients with Cystic Fibrosis.”

Project on stem cell patches

Dr. Marta Vilà, from the Balearic Islands Health Research Institute (IdISBa), will present the progress of the project entitled “Generation of a patch of respiratory epithelial cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs), using biomaterials, for cell therapy applications in Cystic Fibrosis patients.”
