In this new edition there are substantial changes compared to other years. If you want to sign up you need to know the following:
Dates of the event
It will be the weekend of July 1-3. Remember that you must be in Santanyí (Mallorca) on Thursday June 30 in the afternoon, to pick up your participant’s bag and for the informative talk.
Where will we be swimming?
The chosen area is the south of Mallorca. The coasts of Campos, Ses Salines and Santanyí will host this edition. We have prepared 40 kilometers of spectacular beaches and coasts flanked by cliffs and bottoms with various colors that make them an incredible place to swim. You will know the coast from Sa Ràpita to Cala D’Or, a unique way to know the beauty of the south of Mallorca.
Sanitary rules
The current regulations must be complied with on the days of the event. In the Balearic Islands, since February, the Covid passport is no longer required, nor to have passed the disease in the last 6 months or similar test to access sporting events. If the situation changes, it will be communicated as soon as possible.
Registration period
As every year, it will be on May 1st, at 00:00 hours, through this link, which will take you to the registration platform.
I want to secure my place before May 1.
This year, as in the last editions, the donation for registration will be €180.00, but drops to €150.00 if you bring a sponsorship of a minimum of €75.00. We encourage you to bring a company, your family, friends or even yourself to contribute an amount for this challenge. If you want to secure your place and not have to “fight” for one on May 1st, this is your option.
Remember that the tax authorities will return 80% for this contribution if it is made by an individual or 35% if it is made by a company.
How do I do this if I have a sponsorship?
Participants who confirm a sponsorship of at least €75.00 are assured a place (until 240 places are available). To do so, please contact the Respiralia Foundation via email (fundacio@respiralia.org) to receive the appropriate instructions.
Deadline to confirm sponsorship
April 29th will be the last day to confirm the minimum sponsorship of €75.00 and, therefore, to secure the place.
I have a company interested in sponsorship, what sponsorship plans are there?
Here is the communication plan in case you have any company interested in sponsoring the event. If interest is confirmed, you can send an email to fundacio@respiralia.org to manage this sponsorship.
What happens if I sign up and then can’t go?
A place will only be reserved for the next edition in case of medical leave with a medical report. In all other cases, the registration fee (not the sponsorship) will be refunded with a penalty depending on the date of cancellation (20% until May 31st, 50% from June 1st to June 15th, 75% from June 15th to June 28th). Those who unsubscribe after June 29th will not be entitled to a refund. We hope you understand.
Transportation possibilities Airport – Santanyí
The distance between the airport and Santanyí, municipality where our organization center of the event is located, is approximately 60 kilometers. Due to this distance and the fact that there will be a variety of arrival times to the island, it is impossible to offer a means of transportation from the Organization, so we have managed the following transportation possibilities:
- Cab: Thanks to the collaboration of a cab association, there will be a fixed price of €70.00 regardless of the time and day of the trip. Reservations must be made through the Respiralia Foundation.
- Sixt special price for car rental by accessing with this link (discount already applied in the price displayed on screen).
- Bus lines. In this case, you have to take the line 501 Palma-Campos-Manacor, get off at the stop La Verge (2) in Campos and take the line 516 Campos-Santanyí-Son Monja-Cala Santanyí-Cala Figuera and get off at the stop Sa Tanca in Santanyí. This stop is very close to the sports pavilion where we have our organization center. Price: 6,75 € paying by credit card. If, in addition, more tickets are paid with the same card, discounts apply.
