New edition of our popular race. The Respiralia Group presents the event XIV Solidarity Kilometers against Cystic Fibrosis, to be held on Sunday September 24. Save the date!
An inclusive, non-competitive challenge
As in all the events organized by the Respiralia Group, anyone can participate in this event walking, running or rollerblading (as long as they go at the speed of a walking person).
You can come alone, as a family or in a team, with a baby stroller, pushing a wheelchair, etc. Anyone is welcome.
The route
We will start from the beginnig of the promenade of Es Molinar (in front of Ola del Mar restaurant), reaching the intersection of Del Congre and De l’Oblada streets (Can Pastilla). going along the Bay of Palma. The route, from start to finish and back, is 10 km, with a turning point at KM 2.5 for those who only want to run 5 km.
Depending on the registration, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 km can be run as long as the finish line is crossed before 1:00 pm.
Registration
Registration includes a T-shirt for the first 500 people registered, accident insurance and refreshments. Until August 31, registrants will be able to reserve their T-shirt size by filling out the registration form. From that date onwards, registrants will no longer be able to choose their size.
Online registration will be through this LINK until Friday, September 22nd at 23:59. Those who wish to do so may register on the day of the race at the table set up for this purpose.
Registration fees
- 5 KM: €10.00
- 10 – 15 KM: €15.00
- 20 – 25 KM: €20.00
- 30 – 35 – 40 KM: 25.00
- Family fee (minimum 2 parents and 2 direct descendants): €30.00
Schedule
The first start will be at 09:30, for those people who want to run distances longer than 15 km. Then, from 10:00 am, there will be starts every 15 minutes to avoid crowds of people.
Children’s races
The children’s races will start at 11:30 am. It will be in an area adjacent to the finish arch installed for the main race, with a distance of approximately 250 meters. The race for children from 0 to 5 years old will be 1 lap around the course; the 6 to 7 years old will be 2 laps around the course; and the 8 to 10 years old will be 3 laps around the course.
Children’s races fees
- Up to 5 years old: €2.00 (T-shirts not included due to lack of sizes)
- From 6 to 10 years old: €5.00 € (includes T-shirt as stated in the “Registration” section) or €2.00 (T-shirt not included)
Do you know a soulful company that wants to collaborate?
We are looking for companies with soul that want to collaborate by sponsoring the efforts of people with CF who will participate in the event, contributing a voluntary amount of money for the kilometers they will run.
Joanet, the boy you can see in the picture, is 6 years old and has Cystic Fibrosis. He has been making a big effort to run the 5 km course for a few years now. As he did last year he wants to be one of the visible faces to help raise funds to finance the services he and the rest of the people with Cystic Fibrosis receive.

Can a supporter also sponsor?
Of course. Any person or company that would like to collaborate by sponsoring the efforts of the people with Cystic Fibrosis who will participate in the event can do so.
Send your donation by any of the ways we suggest below and, VERY IMPORTANT, send us an email to fundacio@respiralia.org with your tax information and the receipt so that we can notify the Treasury and you can deduct 80% of the first €150.00 and 35% of the rest of the amount, according to current regulations.
