The Respiralia Foundation will continue to promote healthy habits in the classroom thanks to Vertex Pharmaceuticals during this school year on the three islands, with a grant of €3,800.00.
Healthy habits for the next generations
The Respiralia Foundation wants to protect the environment of people with Cystic Fibrosis. This includes the people who interact with them. Adherence to healthy habits will be an important point to avoid the spread of contagious diseases that can seriously damage the quality of life of children and young people with Cystic Fibrosis.
It is therefore essential to teach the advantages of healthy habits to the new generations in their schools.
Activities for all ages
The Respiralia Foundation organises activities for pupils from 6 to 17 years of age, although they can also be adapted for younger and older children.
Thus, we have the storytelling “Respiralio and the Big Blue Bear” for pupils between 6 and 9 years old; the talk on the respiratory system and Cystic Fibrosis for pupils between 10 and 14 years old; and the workshop “You decide” for pupils between 15 and 17 years old.
All these activities are part of the “PrevAcción: Actívate in healthy habits” programme.
